As soon as I posted the last post, we got the call that surgery is over. It lasted about 2 hours or so. Everything went well and Steve's in recovery. He'll be there for about 3 hours and until they move him to a room, we will be unable to see him.
In case you are wondering, when I say "we", I'm referring to my SIL, Deanne who came immediately this morning to keep me company. Have I mentioned how much I love the Taylors?! :)
So, thanks for your prayers. This is the beginning of a long journey for us, but we are up for the trip! We covet your prayers, friendship and support.

Glad to hear everything went well. I know you guys made the right decision to go ahead with the hip replacement. You'll be able to tease him about this one day, but I'm sure it's not in the least bit funny right now.
Please CALL ME for anything you need. You know I am serious. JG is welcome here any time. We're happy to have her as long and as often as you need. I know this is incredibly frustrating for all of you... praying for you!
