Let me preface this post by telling you that I am in love with my Canon Rebel XSI and I'm about to celebrate my 1 year anniversary with it. Since I've had it, I've bought a telephoto lens, taking a photography class, purchased a card reader, hijacked Photoshop and taking about 10,000 pictures. I just found a fabulous deal on a fixed portrait lens and so on Cyber Monday, I purchase it, along with aforementioned wireless remote.
I'm looking into an additional flash, but they are expensive. So Steve and I decided that if I'm going to invest in this camera I should start doing some little side jobs. I was pretty excited about that prospect and thought maybe some of you would let me photograph your family...free of course...to get me some experience.
Well, after last night, I am thinking perhaps NOT.

Does it not look like there are an extra pair of legs going on here? Seriously.
Oddly enough, this is one of my faves. Katie finally just gave out and the rest of us got tickled.
Yeah. Nothing good about this one.
And this one may or may not make the cut...we'll just have to see...
Now. Let's not all jam up my inbox with requests for portrait sessions.

Where you taking the class? I would love to take one.
I like the last one. Jenna does have a bit of a fake smile, and Katie does look a little disgruntled with the whole process, but you and Steve look good! Besides, kids and pets will always be oooed and ahhed over in pictures!
