Friends

A couple years ago, I start hanging out with my friend Elizabeth.  I met her because I was keeping her oldest daughter in the nursery at church.  She was looking for a buddy to hang with her on Friday nights because she was a football widow since her husband coached high school football.  I would have never imagined how God would interweave our lives in such a way.

Not too much later, God added a sweet friend, Jill, to our nursery volunteers and we ended up a regular Friday threesome.  I love these girls like none other and love their kids like my own.  I think these pictures of our homecoming from China speak for themselves...

And I can't wait for our kids to grow up together.  Jenna has turned into quite a babysitter and Kylie is starting to acclimate.  One Friday night a few weeks ago we all got together and for a split second, the kids sat quietly watching their favorite show, Bubble Guppies.  It's not great quality in terms of photography, but it makes this Mama's heart happy...
